Preschool Program
Philosophy
Preschoolers are independent and active learners. At this stage of child development, vocabulary, coordination, intellectual thinking and social and emotional skills are developing quickly. The mission of our preschool program is to foster this development and to develop well-rounded children. Our preschool program provides many age-appropriate and individually-appropriate activities to a small group of children. We emphasize providing individual attention to each child in order to promote kindergarten readiness.
TeachersThe program is lead by a California-State-credentialed Master Teacher (Site Supervisor) and an Associate Teacher. The teachers are supported by an AM assistant and a PM assistant as needed.
Ages ServedOur program serves 2 to 5 year olds, and the group is a mixed-age group.

Group Size and Teacher-Child Ratio
The group size is 12 children. Our Teacher-Child ratio is low (usually 1:4 with a maximum of 1:6), and it affords a high-level of personal attention.
Environment
The classroom environment is a combination of school and home atmospheres, which facilitates an excellent transition from home to kindergarten. It includes a classroom, an art room, a multi-purpose room, and covered outdoor activity areas. It also includes a large outdoor playground which has age-appropriate toys and play areas.
Daily Schedule
Daily ReportsFor our extended care clients, we offer daily reports. They cover a child’s activities, mood, appetite, nap, etc.
